News: Petition for a Writ of Certiorari

Attorneys with BBFVH recently prepared and filed a Petition for Certiorari in the United States Supreme Court raising and arguing a very interesting and currently relevant issue of constitutional law. More specifically, the petition seeks the Supreme Court’s judicial review over the power of Congress to expand federal judicial power over state governments and state governmental entities through federal appropriations that require waivers of sovereign immunity to suits brought by private individuals in federal court.
